Pumpkin Fairy WIP

And a lovely weekend to all our friends! Sorry I've been a bit slow in painting, but the weather started to get nice after we had some dastardly hot weather, then it was t-storms and lightening, now it's just right, and I had to pay some attention to my horses. I'm afraid between my corporate-life day job, horses, house/garden, and everything else, sometimes it's hard to find time to do all the painting/sculpting I'd like.

Almost finished is my pumpkin fairy. A change for me from my odds-bodkin characters, but I needed to break it up a bit and show my, ahem, sweet side. I think I'll paint her soft colors of oranges, yellows, and greens. But be assured, I've got some other-worldly denizens of the dark in the works that will be premiering shortly. Bwwwwahhhhhaaa!

Thanks Jenn! You're too kind. You'll be the first I tell when she's all painted. Can't wait myself to see how she turns out.

Are you almost finished? Hurry, hurry! But I know, deciding on color...

LOL! Actually I'm 1/2 way there! And for sure the color is the hardest part. I've got her head, body, feet and her little pumpkin finished and I like the direction it's going so far. I'm thinking she'll be done in the next couple days. Keep checking back. AND I have a name for her too. Oh so appropriate! Take care y'all!
